Our mission through this gathering is to unite the family members that are spread throughout North America.  Gatherings such as the one we are having enables the children to get to know their extended family members.  The main purpose of our family reunion this summer is to have a better understanding of our family and to keep up with the traditions of our family in North America as our appachan and ammachi did in India.
